How to Order the Right Fusion Reactors Battery Replacement Kit

This guide explains how to choose the correct Fusion Reactors battery replacement kit for your sixth-scale figure, and what to write in the notes box so I can build the right USB dummy battery setup for you.

Step 1 - Check Your Figure and Count the Compartments

Before you look at the product listings, start with your figure in front of you.

Ask yourself two questions:

  • Which figure is it (brand and model)? For example: “Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 50 (MMS500)” or “Hot Toys C-3PO”.

  • How many battery compartments do I want to convert to USB?

A compartment means one battery door with its own set of button cells or AA/AAA batteries. Many Iron Man figures, for example, have four button-cell compartments – head, chest, left hand and right hand. You do not have to convert all of them. If you only want Mark 50 head and chest, that is two compartments, even though the figure has four.

Step 2 - Once you know how many compartments you want to convert, choose the listing matches your setup.

A. Button-Cell Compartments Only

Use these listings when you are converting button-cell compartments only (no AA/AAA bases and no extra USB‑C output).

  •  (1 compartment) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For one area only – for example: C-3PO head/eyes, or an Iron Man head only, or an Iron Man chest only.

  •  (2 compartment) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For two areas – for example: Dark Trooper head and chest, or Mark 50 head and chest.

  •  (3 compartment) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For three areas – for example: Mark 85 Battle Damaged chest and both hands.

  •  (4 compartment) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For full Iron Man style setups – head, chest and both hands.

  •  (6 compartment) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For big projects – for example: Mark 3 head, chest, both hands and both legs, or multiple small compartments across several figures.

B. Button-Cell Compartments Plus USB‑C Output

Use these listings when you want to convert button-cell compartments and also add a USB‑C output – for example, to power a Hot Toys junction box or base from the same system.

  •  (1 compartment + USB‑C) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For one button-cell compartment plus one USB‑C output – for example: C-3PO head/eyes plus USB‑C to power a base or junction box.

  •  (6 compartment + USB‑C) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For up to six button-cell compartments plus one USB‑C output – ideal for larger displays where you want to power a figure (or figures) and a Hot Toys base or junction box together.

C. AA / AAA Compartments

Use these listings when you are converting AA or AAA battery compartments to USB power.

  •  (AA/AAA) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 light up kit

For bases, vehicles or large accessories that use AA or AAA batteries only.

  •  (4 compartment + AA/AAA) Battery Replacement kit 1/6 Ironman light up kit

For a complete Iron Man style setup with four button-cell compartments plus an AA/AAA base – for example: head, chest, both hands and a light-up base in one package.

Step 3 -  What to write in the Notes / Personalisation Box

After you pick the correct listing, the most important part is the notes or personalisation box on the product page. This is where you tell me exactly what to build.

Please include:

  • Figure name and brand.

  • Which compartments you want converted.

  • Any extras such as USB‑C or AA/AAA base details.

Good examples:

  • “Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 50 (MMS500) – convert head and chest only, leave both hands stock.”

  • “Hot Toys C-3PO – head/eye compartment only.”

  • “Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 3 – head, chest, both hands and both legs (6 compartments).”

  • “Hot Toys Iron Man Mark 85 BD – chest and both hands (3 compartments).”

  • “Dark Trooper – head and chest compartments (2 compartments).”

  • “Hall of Armor base – AA compartment only, no figure compartments.”

After you place your order, you can also email or DM photos of the battery compartments. Photos help me double‑check the design so your dummy batteries and wiring fit correctly.

Step 4 - Figure Specific Listings

On the website you may also see figure-specific listings such as “C‑3PO Battery Replacement Kit”. These are pre-sorted versions of the same system for popular figures. You can use them if your figure exactly matches the title, but if you are ever unsure, it is safer to start with the compartment-based listings above and describe your figure in the notes.

Every collection is a little different. If you are still unsure which listing to choose, send me photos of your figure and the battery compartments and I will recommend the best option. It is always better to ask first so I can build the right kit for your display.
