About Fusion Reactors
Fusion Reactors was born from one collector’s obsession with Hot Toys Iron Man figures and a simple idea: “What if I could light them up any time I wanted—without fighting tiny button cell batteries?”
We design and build custom USB light kits, dummy battery converters and display lighting so collectors can safely power their figures, dioramas, Detolf cabinets, guns, blasters and lightsabers—whenever they want, for as long as they want.
Fusion is always evolving. We’re constantly innovating, testing, and improving our designs based on real collector feedback so every new run is better than the last.

Our Story – From Spinal Fusion to Fusion Reactors
My journey with Hot Toys Iron Man figures started back in 2016. Like most collectors, I loved the detail, the engineering, the presence on the shelf. But there was always one thing that frustrated me—those tiny cell batteries and fiddly switches.
In 2018, everything changed. A serious car accident meant I needed spinal fusion surgery, and I was stuck at home for about a year to recover. I was surrounded by my figures, but over time the excitement faded. Swapping batteries, worrying about damage, and not being able to enjoy the light-up features on demand slowly killed the magic.
Instead of giving up, I went the other way:
• I started learning about electronics and lighting from scratch.
• I spent hours experimenting with USB power, dummy cells, and safe wiring.
• Eventually, I built my first working custom light kit for my own Iron Man figures.
The moment those arc reactors and repulsors lit up on command, something clicked. If this solution transformed my collection, maybe it could help other collectors too.
That’s when I launched the Fusion Reactors Instagram and began sharing what I’d built—helping fellow collectors upgrade their Hot Toys and other 1/6 figures with safer, smarter lighting.
