Installation Guide (IMPORTANT)
Open the Proton Pack battery compartment(s) and remove the original batteries.
Insert each kit in the correct orientation:
✅ Correct Polarity (Critical)
Negative (–) = Bottom
Positive (+) = Top
✅ Positive Contact Alignment (Critical)
Very important: Align the side copper contact on the Positive (+) so it touches the side metal contact inside the compartment. If the copper side isn’t making firm contact, the insert may not power on.
Route each USB cable neatly and close the compartment carefully.
Plug each insert into a 5V USB power source and test.
Quick Troubleshoot:If a section doesn’t turn on, remove and re-seat the insert, making sure the positive copper side is firmly touching the compartment’s metal strip.
Power & Use Notes
Power input: 5V USB-A
Use a standard 5V USB wall adapter or power bank
Avoid “fast charge / multi-voltage” outputs if your adapter can switch modes
