Dark Trooper USB Conversion & Bluetooth Control – Send-In Hard Mod Service

How to use:

- Insert the dummy into the battery compartment, connecting the red (+) and black (-) terminals.

- Place the dummy on the spring side at a 45-degree angle. Use flathead tools to gently push it down, then use your finger to push it all the way inside.

- Ensure that the light switch is turned on and that both metal contacts are touching.

- Do not swap USB cables among other kits unless they have a male USB port.

- Plug the USB cable into the power adaptor.

- Close the compartment with the cable lead next to the screw to create more space.

Warning and Safety Manual:

- Do not pull on the cable or remove, open, or unplug it frequently, as this may cause damage.

- Keep the device in a shaded or room-temperature environment.

- Avoid using exposed cables.

- Do not let the black and red wires touch each other.

- Do not use a fast-charging USB adaptor.

Safety Tips:

- This device is not intended for children under the age of 15 and should not be left unattended for extended periods.

- Only turn on the device when supervised, and it should be used for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.

- Stop using the device immediately if you notice any changes in the light colour, flashing LED, or if it does not turn on.

Troubleshooting:

- Ensure that all dummy cells are inserted and the switch is turned on before plugging in the power adaptor.

- If the compartment is closed too tightly, it may cause the dummy cells to pull out, so adjust the compartment as needed to ensure that the copper contacts are touching each other.

- Close the compartment with a gentle push, but do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the device.

- Power adaptor (5V, 2A output - not included)

- USB 2.0 cable

Note: The Mark 46 and Mark 47 models do not include a shoulder back light kit.

When Do You Need This Service?

Choose a Hard Mod when:

• There’s no easy battery compartment or access point for a dummy cell kit

• The stock electronics are dead, unreliable, or badly designed

• You want the cleanest possible look – no external battery box or visible cables

• You want a more advanced setup (multiple zones, special routing, or integration with a hub)

If your figure only needs a dummy battery / external USB kit, please look at the standard light kit products instead.

How the Process Works

1. Request a Quote

   • Use the Custom Work / Hard Mod quote form

   • Send clear photos of the figure, base and existing light-up parts

   • Tell me what you want to light (chest, eyes, base, weapons, etc.)

2. Receive Price & Time Estimate

   • I’ll reply within 48 hours with a quote, what’s possible, and an estimated timeframe

   • If you’re happy, you can checkout directly from the invoice

3. Send Your Figure

   • Carefully pack your figure and base (original packaging recommended)

   • Ship it to the address provided in the confirmation email

   • You’ll be responsible for shipping costs and insurance to/from Fusion Reactors

4. Modification & Testing

   • I’ll carefully disassemble what’s needed, install the lighting, and test everything under normal display conditions

   • Once done, I’ll send final photos or a short video before return shipping

5. Return Shipping

   • Your figure is packed securely and shipped back using tracked postage

   • You’ll receive tracking details so you can follow its journey home

Important Notes & Disclaimer

• Send-in at your own risk: Every figure is handled with care, but this work involves opening and modifying collector items.

• Factory warranty: These mods will usually void the original manufacturer’s warranty.

• Small marks / internal changes: Minor internal cuts, glue points or hidden marks may be required to route wiring. I always aim to keep all visible areas as clean and original as possible.

• Non-reversible: Hard mods are often not fully reversible back to stock condition.
