Skip the bulky junction box.The Fusion Reactors Direct USB Figure Connector lets you power compatible Hot Toys figures directly from USB, so you don’t need to use the original junction box and extra cables that are hard to hide.
Instead of: Figure ➜ Junction Box ➜ USB-C ➜ Power you get: Figure ➜ Fusion Reactors connector ➜ Power
Why Collectors Love It
No More Bulky Junction BoxRemoves the extra Hot Toys box that always ends up dangling behind the base or hanging in mid-air. Cleaner shelves, better photos.
Direct Figure-to-USB PowerPlugs straight into the figure’s port and goes directly to USB-A power (5V) – fewer connection points, less mess, less to fail.
Easier to HideSlim, flexible cable routes neatly behind stands, risers or the back of the Detolf, so your eye stays on the figure, not the wiring.
Less Hassle, Less ClutterNo extra box to tape down, no extra USB-C cable to manage, no awkward block sitting on the base. Just plug in and light up.
Optimised for Display UseDesigned for stable 5V power from your existing USB adaptor or Fusion Reactors hub – perfect for display, photography and studio setups.
Recommended Use
For Hot Toys figures and bases that normally require a junction box between the figure and the USB power source.
Use with a 5V, 2A USB power adaptor or Fusion Reactors hub (not included).
Ideal for collectors who want the cleanest possible look in their cabinets and don’t have anywhere to hide a junction box.
Note: Compatibility may vary by figure. Please check the product page list or contact Fusion Reactors if you’re unsure whether your figure can use the direct connector.
Flash Direct USB (Bypass the Junction Box, Power Straight from USB)
How to use:
- Insert the dummy into the battery compartment, connecting the red (+) and black (-) terminals.
- Place the dummy on the spring side at a 45-degree angle. Use flathead tools to gently push it down, then use your finger to push it all the way inside.
- Ensure that the light switch is turned on and that both metal contacts are touching.
- Do not swap USB cables among other kits unless they have a male USB port.
- Plug the USB cable into the power adaptor.
- Close the compartment with the cable lead next to the screw to create more space.
Warning and Safety Manual:
- Do not pull on the cable or remove, open, or unplug it frequently, as this may cause damage.
- Keep the device in a shaded or room-temperature environment.
- Avoid using exposed cables.
- Do not let the black and red wires touch each other.
- Do not use a fast-charging USB adaptor.
Safety Tips:
- This device is not intended for children under the age of 15 and should not be left unattended for extended periods.
- Only turn on the device when supervised, and it should be used for a maximum of 3 hours at a time.
- Stop using the device immediately if you notice any changes in the light colour, flashing LED, or if it does not turn on.
Troubleshooting:
- Ensure that all dummy cells are inserted and the switch is turned on before plugging in the power adaptor.
- If the compartment is closed too tightly, it may cause the dummy cells to pull out, so adjust the compartment as needed to ensure that the copper contacts are touching each other.
- Close the compartment with a gentle push, but do not apply excessive force, as this may damage the device.
Recommended:
- Power adaptor (5V, 2A output - not included)
- USB 2.0 cable
Note: The Mark 46 and Mark 47 models do not include a shoulder back light kit.
