Returns, Exchanges & Warranty Policy
1. About This Policy
At Fusion Reactors (“Fusion”, “we”, “us”), we are small-scale collectors and makers who design and build lighting solutions and USB conversion kits so Hot Toys and other 1/6 figures can shine without constantly swapping tiny button cell batteries. We want every order to arrive safely and work as expected, but because we are a small, custom-focused business, we need a clear, fair policy to protect both you and us.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2. What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to purchases made directly from:
• Our website: fusionreactors.com.au
• Any other official Fusion Reactors sales channel that links to this policy
If you bought a Fusion product from another store or reseller, please contact them first, as they are responsible for your order and any returns. We can only assist directly with orders placed with us.
3. Change-of-Mind Returns
Most Fusion Reactors products are made in small batches, custom-made, or made-to-order for specific figures and display setups. For this reason, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or refunds.
Change-of-mind includes (but is not limited to):
• You decided you no longer want the item
• You ordered the wrong item by mistake
• You found a different product elsewhere that you prefer
In some rare cases, and at our discretion, we may agree to a change-of-mind return. If we do, we may:
• Deduct shipping costs, and/or
• Deduct a restocking/handling fee to cover materials and time
This does not affect your rights where the product is faulty, damaged, or not as described.
4. Damaged or Defective on Arrival
Please open and inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incomplete, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with:
• Your order number
• Clear photos or short videos of the issue (for example, LED not working, wiring broken, severe damage)
• Photos of the packaging (shipping box and any internal packaging)
• A brief description of what happened

If the issue is confirmed as a production fault or shipping damage, we will, depending on stock and feasibility:
• Repair the item; or
• Replace the item; or
• Provide a partial refund or store credit; or
• Provide a full refund
If the item is damaged in transit, we’ll normally cover return shipping or arrange a return label/QR code for eligible Australian orders.
If you contact us after the 14-day window, we’ll still try to help, but we may not be able to offer a refund or replacement unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
5. Limited Warranty for Fusion Electronics & Custom Kits
Our light kits and USB conversion systems are designed for display use by collectors. Different parts of our range have different warranty periods, as set out below. All warranties are in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
5.1 USB Light Kit Converter & Battery Replacement Modules (10-Year Warranty)
We provide a 10-year limited warranty from the date of delivery on USB light kit converter and battery replacement modules against:
• Manufacturing defects in the electronics; and
• Components that fail under normal collector use.
This 10-year warranty does not cover:
• Breakage caused by handling, drops, knocks, crushing, or other physical damage by the collector;
• Damage resulting from incorrect installation, modification, or use with unsuitable power supplies;
• Damage from moisture, heat, dust, or other environmental factors; or
• Normal wear and tear.
5.2 Custom Detolf Lighting, Guns, Blasters, Lightsabers & Accessories (2-Year Warranty)
For custom light Detolf solutions, guns, blasters, lightsabers, and accessories, we provide a 2-year limited warranty from the date of delivery that covers:
• LED light failure under normal collector use.
This 2-year warranty covers only the lighting system (for example, LEDs, internal wiring, and relevant drivers) and does not cover the actual collectible item it attaches to (such as figures, weapons, or display pieces), their paint, or any physical damage to them.
Under both warranties above, we may:
• Repair or replace the faulty part; or
• Offer store credit or a refund where repair/replacement is not practical.
After the applicable warranty period ends, we’re still happy to discuss repair or replacement options, but these may be at your cost unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
6. Custom Work & Commissions
Some projects are fully custom (for specific figures, cabinets, or dioramas). For Custom Work / Commissions:
1. Non-refundable once work has started
Once we begin sourcing materials, designing, or building your custom solution, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded for change of mind.
2. Faulty or incorrect custom items
If we clearly make an error (for example, wrong connector type, incorrect lengths vs agreed specs) or the item is faulty, we will repair or replace it, or provide another remedy as required by Australian Consumer Law.
3. Customer-supplied specifications
You are responsible for providing accurate information (figure names, battery specifications, space constraints, etc.). If a problem arises because the information provided was incorrect or incomplete, we may still help, but additional work or parts may be charged.
4. Reasonable variations
Custom work may vary slightly from diagrams, mock-ups, or reference images due to materials and practical constraints. Minor variations are not considered defects.
7. How to Request a Return, Exchange, or Support
To request help:
1. If you created an account, log into your Fusion Reactors account for faster lookup; and
2. Contact us form:
• Your order number
• Photos/videos showing the issue
• A short description of what’s wrong
We will confirm the next steps, which may include:
• A return label (for eligible Australian orders)
• Instructions on how to safely pack and return the item
• An outline of the resolution (repair, replacement, store credit, or refund)
8. Lost or Missing Deliveries
If your order appears to be lost in transit:
• First check the tracking link provided in your shipping confirmation email.
• If tracking hasn’t updated or shows an issue, please contact us within 30 days of the ship date.
We may:
• Open an investigation with the carrier
• Replace the order if the package is confirmed lost, subject to stock availability
• Provide a refund if we cannot replace the item
Orders reported as not delivered more than 90 days after shipment may not be eligible for replacement or refund, especially if tracking shows delivery or attempted delivery.
9. Condition of Returned Items
When we approve a return or exchange, the item should be returned:
• In the same condition as received (unless you are returning it specifically due to damage or fault)
• With all included parts: light kit components, USB modules, accessories, mounts, cables, etc.
• In the original packaging where possible, including any inner foam or protective inserts
Please pack the return securely. Items that arrive with extra damage due to poor repacking may take longer to process and may receive a reduced refund or refusal of warranty, depending on the level of damage.
10. What Is Not Covered
The following are generally not covered by returns or free replacement:
• Shipping cartons with cosmetic wear such as scuffs, dents, or tape marks.
• Minor cosmetic blemishes that do not affect function (for example, tiny marks on internal wiring pieces).
• Damage caused by incorrect power supplies, over-voltage, or user modifications.
• Issues arising after long-term heavy use, improper storage, or exposure to moisture, heat, or dust.
• Items purchased through third-party sellers (not directly from Fusion Reactors).
• 1/6 scale lightsaber collectibles that experience paint transfer when handled by action figures or when posed in contact with other painted surfaces. This is a normal characteristic of painted collectibles and is not considered a defect.
• Any paint wear, minor rubs, or marks that occur from normal posing, handling, or display of figures, weapons, or accessories.
• Damage that occurs when LED lights are left on for extended periods
11. Processing Times
Once your return is received at our address:
• Refunds are usually processed within 5–7 business days, but banks and payment providers may take up to 14 business days to show funds.
• Exchanges/replacements are usually sent within 5–7 business days, subject to stock.
• Store credit is normally applied to your Fusion account within 5–7 business days.
